A big day for our family yesterday! Cathie and I became grandparents. At 4:57 PM Sara gave birth to a 7 pound 10 ounce baby boy - Alexander Thomas McKay. Both Sara and Alex are doing fine.
Sara called us early yesterday morning to say that her water had broke and that she and Anth were going to the hospital. Later in the morning Anth called us to say that she was in labour and had been admited. The next call was a brief one in the afternoon from Sara to say that Alex had been born. Wow!
In about three weeks Cathie and I will be flying over to meet the young fella. And we both have new names - Oma and Papa.
