Today I took a short trip to a local mall and did some shopping. It is a beautiful day and in the store (Sears) there was a good selection of merchandise and some very good deals. It occurred to me that this simple little excursion was something of a privilege that not all in this world can enjoy. We have it so good here in Canada. I am by no means a rich man and my worldly possessions are modest. But I have the freedom and the means to live comfortably and safely.
I count my blessings.
