I guess it is a good excuse, but I will attribute my lack of activity on this Blog to the great weather we have had this summer and, as a result, a lot of time on the golf course. In the news recently there has been much coverage concerning the extreme weather events throughout the world yet here in Nova Scotia we have had a most pleasant summer . Hartlen Point Forces Golf Club opened more than a week earlier this year and, with the exception of a very windy May, has experienced great playing weather. The course has been in exceptional condition this summer. Long before August was through, I had over 100 rounds under my belt and for the first time ever I finally broke 80 with a new low score of 78.Normally, September is the best month for golf around here. I hope that will continue this year with this exceptional weather. I cannot help but think that the changes in the worlds weather patterns will have a downside for Nova Scotia, I just don't know what that will be.
