My wife, Cathie, and I recently had the pleasure of visiting Australia last month. Were we impressed? You bet we were. Australia is an incredibly beautiful place inhabited by a dynamic friendly people. Time restricted us to only touring the east coast from Sydney to Port Douglas but that turned out to be a great choice. I guess the highlight from a part of the world which all seemed like a paradise to me was the Great Barrier Reef. Snorkeling there was an experience I will never forget. And we only saw a corner of the country! I think we will have to go back sometime.
